No one was injured in the sinking and the U.S. Coast Guard was called and responded to the scene to oversee the incident. Tower Marine owner RJ Peterson said the Coast Guard stood on the shore watching the boat and was there Wednesday afternoon to keep an eye on it. “Took on water,” said Peterson, when asked what had hap-pened to the craft. Peterson said the exact cause of the boat’s sinking wouldn’t be known until the craft was brought up from its underwater resting place. By 2 p.m. Wednesday the still-listing boat had been pulled par-tially up to an almost normal posi-tion. Some specatators sat on the shore watching the work being done to right the craft and pump out the water that had sent it downward the evening before. The boat owner’s name was not immediately released.
