Special To The Observer Businesses and Prizes The shop owners at The Old Hardware Shops know how diffi-cult it is to hear the words “You’ve Got Cancer”, so we have decided to join forces and offer an amazing give-away to one deserving female cancer warrior. We would like you -the family member, caretaker, friend, coworker, etc. – to nominate who you think deserves this prize. All you have to do is write a short essay on what obstacles they have faced, and tell us about their perseverance, courage and why they deserve to win this prize while fight-ing this horrific disease. It can be ANY cancer, not just breast cancer that they are fight-ing. You may post your essay on any of our facebook pages. We will gather all nominated names and hold a drawing on Friday October 30th. We look forward to reading about these heroes among us.
