Hofbräuhaus in Michigan? Recent rumors have been circulating about this idea. We asked Fred Schumacher to comment: “We are discussing possibilities in Detroit and there is interest. However, there is nothing concrete. It has been my experience that it usually takes a significant time span until things really gel. For instance we have ground breaking for a Hofbräuhaus in Chicago- Rosemont on 11/18. It will be a rather large brew pub, fitting for a large population like Chicago. However, it took us years to get there. I am hoping it will not take that long in Detroit, but I would be cautious with any prediction at this point.”
